I am less than two pages away from finishing my thesis I began researching in August and writing in December. Does it feel good? No. Why? Because in about September, it made me realize that I could never mentally/emotionally handle writing a dissertation in graduate school and that I no longer wanted to go to graduate school. For the last two years, I’ve wanted to go back to Stone Mountain, Tallulah Falls, read a book of my own choice, use my camera, go camping, go to a music festival, sit in the grass, swim in the ocean, and go to a high school/college/and major league baseball game….among other things.
But college became exceedingly complicated and mind-numbingly stressful.
